NOT AS DESCRIBED, BUT NOT A TOTAL LOSS. The first desk arrived with a smashed front left corner (which, of course, is unnoticable until you unpack it completely), but Amazon was great about sending out a new one before we even had the first one picked up by UPS (which amazon also arranged).My only beef is with 2 factors:1. Beautiful but fit and finish could be better This is a beautiful desk ……now. Out of the box it was damaged. The sliding drawer wood was split. Rather than fight the effort to return I fixed it and it is fine but I would not be surprised based on the number of reviews that found the same if you saw minor quality issues. Of note one of the legs was slightly off in alignment but it is at the back and not noticeable. Additionally, some items you buy go together well and you can see the engineering.
