Sturdy, functional and good to look at. I’ve had this for three years now. It comfortably seats eight (and to be honest, we’ve squeezed more at times if it’s just folks hanging around). It’s light enough that I can easily shift it out of the way and very sturdy. I have used it without a tablecloth and after three years of my dumping stuff on it, it is relatively unmarked – I did scratch it a bit, but that’s all my fault for being a bit irresponsible. LOVE LOVE LOVE MY NEW TABLE SET!! I was sceptical about ordering furniture online but after reading the reviews we decided to take the chance as this set is exactly what I’ve been wanting. Our set arrived on a semi on a pallet, everything was packaged very well. We put it together very easily & followed some of the advice in previous reviews & put gorilla glue in all joints to prevent problems down the road. Do not buy from them !!!! I received the table set 4 days late. When I got the set , there was 8 chairs , two of them were damaged and different from other chairs . I called the furniture store explaining what happen , they asked me three times what was wrong with it after saying it three times!!!. They barely speak English .
